Antonio Rodrigues is a Brazilian JiuJitsu brown belt from Curitiba, Brazil, with over 15 years of experience, known for his technical precision, competitive mindset, and dedication to the art. Training under accomplished coach David Onuma, Antonio has developed a deep understanding of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu through years of consistent training and high-level competition. His approach combines structured teaching with a strong emphasis on fundamentals, making his classes accessible to beginners while still challenging for advanced practitioners. As both an active competitor and full-time coach, Antonio is committed to helping every student improve with clarity, confidence, and purpose — whether their goal is fitness, self-defence, or competition.
The atmosphere is friendly, focused, and ego-free — with a strong sense of community on the mats. Whether your goal is to get fitter, learn self-defence, or compete, you’ll be part of a team that pushes each other to improve while keeping training safe, respectful, and enjoyable.
We are proud to have a welcoming and supportive community at Reis. Our students come from all walks of life, but share a common passion for Jiujitsu and a desire to improve themselves.
