References in these Terms to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean REIS BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU LTD.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using:

• www.reisbjj.co.uk
• Our booking systems
• Our mobile application
• Any services provided by Reis BJJ Kings Cross

you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree, you must not use our website or services.

3. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old to enter into a membership contract; or
• Have a parent/legal guardian register and accept these Terms on your behalf if under 18.

We reserve the right to refuse membership at our discretion.

4. Membership & Contracts

Membership creates a legally binding contract between you and REIS BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU LTD.

By purchasing a membership, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable fees
• Comply with gym rules and safety instructions
• Maintain respectful behaviour

Membership details, pricing and billing frequency are displayed at the point of purchase.

5. Payments

All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

We do not store full card details.

You authorise us to:

• Charge recurring subscription fees where applicable
• Charge outstanding balances
• Suspend access if payment fails

If payment is not received, we may:

• Suspend your membership
• Cancel your membership
• Recover outstanding sums

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

6. Cancellation & Cooling-Off

14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If you purchase online, you have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

However:

If you attend classes during this period, you agree that services have begun and you may be charged proportionally for sessions used.

Ongoing Membership Cancellation

Cancellation terms (notice periods, minimum terms) are specified at the point of purchase.

7. Class Bookings & Attendance

• Classes may require advance booking.
• We reserve the right to limit class sizes.
• Failure to attend booked classes may result in booking restrictions.

We reserve the right to modify timetables, instructors, or class formats at any time.

8. Health & Safety

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a full-contact martial art involving inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Sprains
• Fractures
• Joint injuries
• Concussions
• Serious physical injury

By participating, you acknowledge these risks.

You confirm that:

• You are medically fit to train; or
• You have disclosed relevant medical conditions; and
• You will follow all safety instructions provided by coaches.

Completion of a liability waiver is required before participation.

9. Conduct & Discipline

We maintain a respectful, professional training environment.

We may suspend or terminate membership without refund if a member:

• Acts aggressively or dangerously
• Engages in bullying or harassment
• Damages property
• Fails to follow instructor guidance
• Brings the club into disrepute

Termination under this clause is at our discretion.

10. Photography & Media

We may take photographs and video recordings during classes or events.

Media may be used for:

• Website content
• Social media
• Promotional materials

For participants under 18, parental consent is required before publication.

Consent may be withdrawn by contacting us.

11. Personal Belongings

You are responsible for your personal belongings.

We accept no liability for:

• Loss
• Theft
• Damage

except where caused by our negligence.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law

Subject to the above, we are not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses
• Loss of earnings
• Loss of opportunity
• Business interruption

Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

13. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the website
• Attempt unauthorised access
• Introduce malicious code
• Copy or reproduce content without permission

All intellectual property on this website belongs to REIS BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU LTD unless otherwise stated.

14. Mobile App Use

If you use our mobile application:

• You are responsible for device security
• We are not liable for compatibility issues
• App features may be updated or withdrawn

App access may be suspended for maintenance or security reasons.

15. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at:

16. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including:

• Government restrictions
• Venue closure
• Illness of instructors
• Natural disasters
• Public health emergencies

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will always be available on our website.

Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
